IRCTC Introduced POS facility

A very happy news for Indian train commuters as Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation(IRCTC) has introduced the new way of paying amounts for food supplied by the IRCTC in Indian trains. With this facility anyone can choose the menu and order the food using debit and credit cards.

The main intension of this introduction of point of sale machines is to restrict the over charge collections and go towards digital. No need to keep any money or change problems now. Additions to this travellers will get bill slip also. As per Indian Railways each rack should be have mininum of 8 pos machines. The caterers will be fined in any case they are not able to provide the proper bills for the food items purchased from IRCTC. As per IRCTC 2000 pos machines were already introduced in mail and express trains, going ahead all trains will be introduced this pos machiens. Railway Minister Mr.Piyush Goyal already said no need to pay the amount unless you get the bill for purchased food, menu list ,price and including GST should be printed on the plates.
